This kit will fit all 1.8T and TDI engines with internal waterpump and 02A or 02J gearboxes
- Removal of the self adjusting 20vt cambelt & tensioner will be required and replaced with a 16v cambelt & tensioner for this mount to work.
- Will not fit ALH unless you change the timing belt idler design. it will bolt up to the block and be in the correct possition, the idler is just in the way.
- On 02J transmissions the reverse switch is in the way of the clutch cable and bracket. in order for the conversion to work you must remove the reverse switch or switch out the shifter tower for 02A or late model 1J/8N 02J. Another option is a hydraulic clutch setup
